To visit the Forest Research Institute:

If you are coming by private car, follow the route :

A) from Thessaloniki via the Peripheral Road, follow the signs to Halkidiki and then the signs to Polygyros. The Institute is located after Nea Radesto and Loutra Thermi.

B) from the center of Thessaloniki, you go through Egnatia – K. Karamanlis – Moudanion and exit towards Polygyros or through Megalou Alexandrou – G. Papandreou – Andrianoupoleos – El. Venizelou – Ethnikis Antistasis – Agricultural School Ave. and exit towards Polygyros.

If you are coming by bus :

Starting from the IKEA bus station, you will take line 87 (via N. Radestou)  and get off at the Forest Research Center stop  (urban zone – ticket 0.80€).

You can reach A.S. IKEA with the following O.A.S.Th lines:

* You can also reach Nea Elvetia by Metro (ticket €0.60) which starts from N.S. Station (with many intermediate stations).
